AI Features and Third-Party AI Processing
Grammarific includes AI-powered features such as AI Chatbot assistance, phrase correction, and AI-generated text-to-speech responses.
When you choose to use an AI-powered feature, Grammarific may send the text or other content you submit for that feature to a third-party AI service provider, including OpenAI, in order to generate the requested response, explanation, correction, or audio output.
Accordingly:
• We will clearly disclose in the app when an AI feature uses OpenAI or another third-party AI provider.
• We will obtain your explicit consent before sending your content to OpenAI or another third-party AI provider.
• You may decline consent; if you do, the AI-powered feature will not process your content, but other non-AI parts of Grammarific may remain available.
• We do not use your AI-submitted content for unrelated marketing purposes.
• We share only the data reasonably necessary to provide the AI feature you requested.
The data sent for AI processing may include:
• the text, prompt, sentence, phrase, or search query you submit; and
• limited account or technical metadata needed to deliver the response securely and reliably.
Any third party with whom we share user data, including OpenAI and any other third-party AI providers, must provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this privacy policy.
Audio Features
Grammarific may provide audio generated from AI text-to-speech. This audio is generated from text submitted to or produced within Grammarific features. Grammarific does not collect or process user-generated voice recordings as part of these audio features unless explicitly stated otherwise in the app.
